I have grown up and known Ben since I was 10 years old. We both signed our first professional contracts at Watford FC together. I was released at the same age as boys going into BHPP Academy, I support Ben in his training ethos in developing players, hopefully for the professional. Herdy was our rock solid right back when I had my first big season as number 1 for Shrewsbury Town. We had a great season together that I will never forget.
I think it is great what he is doing, setting up an academy with his own training methods, which has been devised from across the globe, to give young players a possible chance in the professional world of football and importantly…. the chance of a great further education.
